Swimming in the Pensieve

I, just this moment, tripped across this .pdf on the website of TALB (Teacher’s Association of Long Beach). I encourage you to read at least the first page, for the purposes of discovering that TALB has changed for the better in some substantive ways.

This is at odds with Steinhauser’s interpretation of TALB, the new GM, Scott McVarish, and the direction in which TALB has chosen to take in representing teachers in LBUSD.

Contrary to Steinhauser’s pronouncements, it certainly doesn’t look like TALB has a blood vendetta for Steinhauser. TALB seems to be doing what it hasn’t been doing in the past.

Teachers should take note, and get behind their union reps.

District Admin should take note, and pay the teachers more–even if you have to take several pay cuts yourself.
