What price freedom?

“Just like any other global company, Yahoo must ensure that its local country sites must operate within the laws, regulations and customs of the country in which they are based.”

“When we operate in markets around the world, we have to ensure that our service complies with global laws as well as local laws and norms.”

So much for having enough of a spine to stand up for ones’ own values, as if we’re surprised. We’ve long known that freedom is the antithesis of Blind, American Corporate philosophy–and the politicians in the pockets of such types.
