Are We There Yet?
Even though being in a new house is a good thing, moving is a drag.
For us, as a family with five children still at home, space has been a major issue ever since we were given custody of the eldest three of the five. It has–literally–been years of sacrifice and compromise. :::shrug::: That’s what parents are supposed to do, :::/shrug::: but a break in just some of the privation would be nice; which is what we’ll be getting after the move to the larger residence.
It has been at least 10 years since our last move, and this one just caught us off our stride; so it’s more of a chore than it should–objectively speaking–really be. Yes. My back and shoulders hurt already.
I want the move to be done-with…last week.
