Educational Gains

Filed under: Long Beach Unified SD, Domesticity, Education — Allan @ 17:00:16

Lia just finished-up her assessment for her semester 1 math. She’s now on semester two math in her 8th week of school, this year.

Robinson would only have held her back from realizing her potential, and I have LBUSD to thank for teaching me that public school is just about the worst way to educate a child–particularly a “GATE-qualified” child. (Parents take note.)

Robinson would have tried to retain Anya in fourth grade, and she’s in fifth grade now–taking eighth grade Literary Analysis and Composition at CAliVA. She’s also getting more of a challenge than she would have gotten in Robinson’s poor excuse for a GATE program substitute. (West Long Beach parents take note.)
