Swimming in the Pensieve

In a fit of administrative criminality and callous fiscal irresponsibility, LBUSD laid-off 12 workers while giving certain non-union represented managers, supervisors, and principals a total of $6.8 million in raises and bonuses over the next two years.

As excuses were made to the public, in the face of the fact that the district is doing a poorer job at meeting federal NCLB mandates, I do notice that Dr. Felton Williams did not take part in the School Board feeding frenzy. Personally speaking, his absence from the board meeting in question causes me no surprise; yet, I wonder if my original assessment of the gentleman wasn’t fairly-well on-target and, in what ways it diverges from reality.
