Since the conditions of the Digital TV switchover are such that there must be one analog signal left to serve a market (ours is the Los Angeles, CA market) until June, I figured that I would flick on the ever so seldom used TV (we might as well not even have one) and tally the 2 or 3 stations still serving the LA area.
Well, there were a few more stations still transmitting analog than I expected.
Here's the list for today:
Channel Callsign
2 KCBS
4 KNBC
5 KTLA
7 KABC
9 KCAL
11 KTTV
13 KCOP
18 KSCI
22 KWHY

25 KNET
27 KZSW
28 KCET
30 KPXN

69 ?
For 68 and 69, I can find no FCC channel or callsign allocation for these channels; however, there is a receivable signal on those two tuner selections, as of this morning. Go figure.
Just a note: We don't use cable, satellite, or any other paid television programming subscription service--they are unnecessary to us, and are not an option--so, it's "rabbit ears" and coat hangers in this household.
